Lee Marshall (b.1967, New York City) received her B.A. in Anthropology from Brown University and moved out West to climb rocks and teach for the National Outdoor Leadership School based in Lander, Wyoming. In 1994 she began twelve summers of intensive study in drawing with Nicolas Carone and Bruce Gagnier at the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy. She continued drawing with Mr. Gagnier at the New York Studio School and in 2008 received the Paton prize for watercolor from the National Academy of Design. She has participated in numerous group shows and in 2013 joined the John Davis Gallery in Hudson, New York where she will have her third one-person exhibition in September 2017.
